Sorry I have not been Keeping up on this lately. I have been busy working on the new place and doing new artwork. I hope every one will like the new stuff.

Blocked the second person on Deviant Art today

I had to block the other person I mentioned on Deviant Arts web site. It turns out she is only 15 years old she is posting messages about masturbation drawing her pussy and fucking young boys. I don’t need any one coming to me saying I corrupted their kid so I reported her to the site and let them know she is 15. No wonder she seemed immature. The other day when I checked her profile because of her comments it said she was 19 but today it says she is 15. I had to post this comment so that if the site does not do something about her at least I have some kind of documentation that I reported it. It’s amazing how much trouble I have been having on the art web sites with people like this. It’s brought me to the point that I feel I should consider removing all my work and stop doing art. It is no longer enjoyable at this point. I hope things will get back to normal so I will not quit.

Deviant Art

I have been checking out a new art site at deviantart.com. So far it has been pretty cool. Most of the people have been friendly but like every site you have run-ins with idiots who just live to make trouble for everyone else. The thing I like about this site is that you can block members if they become a problem. I have only blocked one person so far and she was just a total pain in the ass because she was too immature to handle the nudes that I post. I have another one who also was having trouble with the nudity that I post but she has not been obsessive about it. She posted a comment that said my work is crass and has no taste. I looked at her work and I hate to say this about another artist but she has no talent so her opinion does not mean a whole lot. She is another one that just has an immaturity problem. There is a pattern emerging that the people who attack me on the art sites are young girls in there 20s and men who are struggling with the fact that they cant handle their own sexuality.

Nudity And Censorship

I have been thinking about this a lot and have looked at censorship throughout history. I have especially been looking into the Roman Catholic Churches Fig Leaf Campaign and I feel I have to comment on this.

Since prehistoric time, representations of the nude body have been a major theme in art. Until the 1500s the only people to ever wear Fig Leaves in artwork were Adam and Eve. In Ancient Greek art, male nakedness, including the genitals, was common, although the female vulva area was generally covered in art for public display. This tradition continued in Ancient Roman art until the conversion of the Roman Empire to Christianity, Today acceptance has changed and female nudity is widely more accepted than male nudity. During the Middle Ages, only the lower class and the damned were usually shown naked. Throughout history the human form has been one of the most criticized subjects for an artist to render. Often times artist choose their subject matter to record history, question social acceptance, and challenge political agenda. Censoring these works of art show disrespect for the artist their skill and their freedom to create. The human form and its use in art have always aroused mankind and causes controversy. It is intriguing to see what one person considers tasteful and erotic expressions while another may find it to be offensive. I am referring to nudity in art and not nudity that is pornographic. Tasteful erotic artwork in most cases would be any thing that does not show acts of sexual behavior, Penetration, bodily fluids or exploitation of children and minors.
